All The Bright Places by Jennifer Niven
When I first saw this book: Oh, how nice! A pretty blue cover and cute drawings. This will be a happy story.
After I finished this book: WHY.
I have a lot of feelings about All The Bright Places, but I’m not a book-reviewer (?), so who cares.
What did you think?
If you read the acknowledgments, it’s pretty clear that the author wrote this as kind of a PSA for suicide awareness. How do you think the story portrayed that message?
(Feel free to just talk about anything else, including how much you liked of disliked the book. As with all posts on this site, I’ll be replying to anyone who wants to talk!)
I loved this book, despite it being sad!

Oh my gosh, if this is what I think you’re saying, I just got this book. It was recommended by a friend. Well, we’ll see if I like it!
